A little about me…

Sam Waldron (she/her)

Hi, I'm Sam! I’m a queer, fat-positive boudoir + empowerment photographer in Madison, WI and I want to give you more than just pretty photos (though you’ll get a bunch of those too)! I want to give you, and all of the folks I work with, the experience of feeling confident, worthy, and enough in your own skin. You deserve to feel powerful and beloved, badass and beautiful, and while one boudoir session is not going to be able to undo a lifetime of body image issues and diet culture bullshit, we all have to start somewhere.

My job as your photographer is not to make you look thinner or younger or any of those things that won't matter in 100 years time. My job is to capture the sheer raw energy of you, your power and your fierceness, your softness and your sensuality; whatever it is that brings out your most empowered self. The unique things that make you the work of art that you are. I love working with folks of all different shapes, sizes, ethnicities, orientations, and gender identities (or lack thereof). Photo time is a safe time where you feel supported and like you can be yourself, and when you look at these photos, I don’t want you to just enjoy the images, I want you to remember how it felt to be so joyful, and know that you have that power within yourself to tap into any time you need it.
